Bulk Export Manual

Automatic File Naming

It is possible to have the Bulk Export Application automatically name your .WAV files in accordance to one of the selected options. Below is the Automatic File Naming interface:

Below is an explanation of the naming choices:

Add Start Time – if this option is set the system will name output files based on call start time. If this option is not set, a unique call identifier will be used instead.

  • No Extra Details
  • This is the default option for exporting .WAV files, your exported calls will just have the call start time or identifier as per above in the name of each file.

  • Channel Name
  • If this option is selected the system will add the channel name for the call to the file name.

  • Extension
  • If this option is selected the system will add the extension the call was recorded on to the file name.

  • Logical Channel

If this option is selected the system will add the Logical Channel name the call was recorded on to the file name.

Simply select the file naming preference and apply the setting by clicking the "OK" button.

If the system detects that a duplicate file would be generated, a unique number is added to the end of the filename. For example exported calls from extension 3000 could be named Call3_3000(1), Call3_3000(2) etc.
