A Guide to Channel Overview
Live Acquire
The Live Acquire icon enables the user to listen to a live call in progress. Clicking on this icon activates the Media Player which appears at the bottom of the screen. When the media player is operating in live acquire mode some features are disabled when compared to replaying previously recorded calls, such as exporting to WAV file and call authentication. Please note: Although the Live Acquire icon is available on an idle Monitoring Item there will be nothing to hear. The Media Player Sound Form will merely show a straight line as there is no activity on the extension. If the extension comes into use whilst being Live Acquired, the call will start to play live.
