Advanced Use of Search Criteria

Example Three

Number ranges can be used for lists of numbers without having to type them all. This works much faster than using comma separated lists because you only have to type the first and last number in the sequence.

I still want to find calls that were made on logical channels 1, 2 or 3 but I also want to find calls on logical channels 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10. I could use a comma separated list but instead I will use a number range. Because I'm entering a range all I need to type is the first and last number separated by a hyphen ("-").

As you can see this is far easier to type than comma separated lists. However there will be times when a comma separated search is preferred (often when multiple values that do not form a simple range are required e.g. 1, 99, 23, 47).
