Calls can be annotated directly from the grid, by hovering the mouse over the any field enabled for annotation in the results grid. The following icon will appear, and clicking it will bring up a text box.

Call Annotation allows the user to record information against any call selected from the search results. Annotation is only available once an annotation field has been configured on the recorder and if the user is allowed to annotate calls.

Once a call is annotated, these annotations appear in future searches where those calls are retrieved. Once an annotation has been made, it is visible to everyone who can see the call and not just the person who made the annotation.
